Product Description
This clavicle anterior upper locking plate is specially designed for stabilizing and supporting clavicle fractures, particularly in the anterior superior region. It provides angular stability, ensuring secure bone fixation and reducing micromovements at the fracture site, which aids in quicker and more effective healing.
Materials:
Implant quality grade of Titanium
Features:
- Design:
- Anatomically pre-contoured to fit the anterior superior surface of the clavicle, allowing precise alignment with minimal intraoperative adjustments.
- Locking holes to provide angular stability, ensuring secure fixation of the bone fragments and enhancing stability during the healing process.
- Screw Compatibility:
- Compatible with HA 3.5 mm and HB 4.0 mm screws.
- Uses Φ3.5 mm locking screws, providing firm fixation and reducing the risk of screw loosening.
- Hole and Length Specifications:
- Available in different configurations with 6, 7, and 8 holes to accommodate various fracture types.
- Length (mm):
- 6 holes: 95 mm
- 7 holes: 108 mm
- 8 holes: 120 mm
- Material:
- Constructed from high-quality titanium or stainless steel, offering excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength.
Indications
Intended Use:
- This clavicle anterior upper locking plate is intended for the fixation of fractures located on the anterior superior part of the clavicle. The plate provides anatomical support, restoring the natural curvature of the clavicle, ensuring stability, and promoting proper healing.
Indications:
- This plate is indicated for use in the following types of clavicle fractures:
- Midshaft clavicle fractures, particularly those affecting the anterior superior portion of the bone.
- Displaced clavicle fractures, where bone fragments are no longer properly aligned and need secure fixation.
- Comminuted clavicle fractures with multiple bone fragments requiring enhanced stability.
- Distal clavicle fractures, where additional stability is necessary.
- Open or closed clavicle fractures.
- Pathological clavicle fractures caused by conditions such as osteoporosis or tumors.
- Nonunion or malunion clavicle fractures that require corrective surgery for proper healing.
Contraindications
Contraindications:
- This plate should not be used in the following conditions:
- Active infections in the fracture area or surrounding soft tissues.
- Severe soft tissue damage around the fracture, where the plate may not be adequately covered and protected, increasing the risk of complications.
- Insufficient bone stock or poor bone quality, where the bone is unable to securely hold the screws.
- Patients with known metal allergies, particularly to titanium or stainless steel.
- Significant vascular or neurological impairment near the implantation site.
